A gentleman called parents house at 930am asking for either one of my parents. When I questioned who he was he told me he couldn't tell and he could not tell me why he called . When I told him I'm not letting him talk to my father because I didn't know who he was ,he caught a slight attitude with me.

East Yorkshire Glazing Sales continue to contact me despite frequent requests to remove my number from their sales database. I was a customer some years ago, and when phoning they use the tired excuse that they are checking that the double-glazing they installed is satisfactory. As East Yorkshire Glazing Sales have ignored my wishes not to phone this guarantees I will never use them again. Is it arrogance or incompetence that East Yorkshire Glazing Sales continue to harass me?

When answered, an automated male voice says that it is the HMRC for tax purposes, for queries into possible fraud or evasion, I think, I didn't fully pay attention and then, it says you must press 1 to continue, if you don't then you will be arrested. I pressed 1 and then went through to a call centre, a lady with an Indian accent, asks for my name and then I said who is this and I struggled to understand her accent and she ended the call. I was very suspicious that it came from a mobile number and then were patched through to a call centre and that being said represents the HMRC. I haven't had any other kind of correspondence from the HMRC recently in relation this kind of query. I won't do anything further in regards to this until I get official and evidential confirmation that this is legit.

We are also experiencing someone using our landline and calling this number 4 or 5 times a day and wee are bing charged for the calls. Plus net have no idea how it is happening but are investigating it. Deeply suspicious.
